Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 1 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information ZAYN collects, why we collect it, who we share it with, where it is stored, and the rights you have over it. We handle your information in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman.

1. Who is responsible for your information

ZAYN is a business registered in the Sultanate of Oman under Commercial Registration number 1664106, based in Muscat Governorate, Sultanate of Oman. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

For any question about your information, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to hello@zaynoman.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

  • your name, mobile number, and email address;
  • delivery addresses you save or enter at checkout;
  • the contents of messages you send us, including return requests and any photographs you provide;
  • if you apply to become a partner: your business name, contact details, commercial registration number, social media handle, and the information you enter on the application form.

Information created by your use of ZAYN

  • your order history, including the products purchased, the partners they came from, and the amounts paid;
  • delivery records, including timings and status;
  • technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, and approximate location derived from your address or device settings, used to operate and secure the platform.

Payment information

Card payments are processed by our licensed payment provider. Your full card number is entered directly with them and is not stored by ZAYN. We receive only a confirmation of the payment and limited details such as the card type and last four digits, so that we can identify the transaction and process refunds.

3. Why we use it

  • to create and manage your account;
  • to process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, which requires sharing the necessary details with the relevant partners and our delivery provider;
  • to take payment and, where applicable, issue refunds;
  • to communicate with you about your orders and to answer your questions;
  • to handle return requests and disputes;
  • to keep the platform secure, and to detect and prevent fraud;
  • to understand how the platform is used so that we can improve it;
  • to send you marketing messages, where you have chosen to receive them;
  • to meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is necessary. Specifically:

  • Partners. The boutique or designer fulfilling part of your order receives the details needed to prepare it, including your first name and the items ordered. Partners do not receive your payment details.
  • Delivery providers. The company delivering your order receives your name, delivery address, and contact number so that the delivery can be completed.
  • Payment provider. Our licensed payment provider processes your payment and any refund.
  • Technology providers. Companies that host our systems, store our data, send our messages, or support the operation of the platform, acting on our instructions.
  • Professional advisers and authorities. Where we are required to disclose information by law, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

5. How your information is stored

Your personal information is stored securely with trusted service providers, under contractual commitments covering security, confidentiality, and permitted use, and protected to a standard consistent with this policy and with Omani law.

If you have any question about how your information is held, write to us and we will tell you.

6. How we protect it

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls limiting who can view personal information, and separation of payment data from our own systems.

No system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. After that, we keep order, payment, and tax records for the period required by Omani law, and delete or anonymise the rest.

Partner applications that do not proceed are kept for up to twelve months, in case circumstances change, and then deleted.

8. Your rights

Subject to the conditions and exceptions in Omani law, you have the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your information;
  • withdraw consent where our use of your information relies on it;
  • complain to the competent authority in the Sultanate of Oman.

To make a request, write to hello@zaynoman.com. We may need to verify your identity first. We will respond within the period required by law.

9. Marketing

We will send you marketing messages only where you have asked to receive them, for example by joining our waitlist. Every message includes a way to stop receiving them, and you can also ask us at any time. Messages about your orders are not marketing and will continue regardless.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses only what is necessary for it to function. Where we introduce analytics or other non-essential technologies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before they are used.

11. Children

ZAYN is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information about children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force is the one published on this page, with the version number and effective date shown at the top. Where a change is significant, we will tell you directly.
