The ZAYN standard

Size Guide

Every measurement on ZAYN is a measurement of the garment itself, not of the body. Compare it with a piece you already own and love, and you will know exactly what arrives.

How to use this guide

Take a garment you already own that fits the way you like. Lay it flat and measure it. Then compare your numbers with the garment measurements shown on the product page and in the tables below. Your own wardrobe is the most reliable size guide there is.

Every product on ZAYN states which lengths and fits it is available in, using the standard below. Where a designer provides exact measurements for a specific piece, those appear on the product page and take precedence.

Length

Length sizes follow the traditional numbering, where the number is the length of the garment in inches, measured from the shoulder to the hem.

SizeGarment length
50127 cm · 50"
52132 cm · 52"
54137 cm · 54"
56142 cm · 56"
58147 cm · 58"
60152 cm · 60"

Fit

Fit is separate from length, so a long, slim cut and a shorter, generous cut are both possible. The letters below describe the garment's width at the bust.

FitGarment bust
S96–104 cm · 38–41"
M104–112 cm · 41–44"
L112–120 cm · 44–47"
XL120–128 cm · 47–50"
XXL128–136 cm · 50–54"

One-size pieces

Some designs, such as kaftans, bishts, and butterfly cuts, are made in one size by design. These are always listed with the garment's actual length and width, so you can compare in the same way.

Dresses and other pieces

Dresses and fitted pieces vary too much by design for a single table to be honest. Each is listed with its own garment measurements on the product page, using the same fit letters above as a shared reference.

Good to know

  • All measurements are of the garment, not the body.
  • Handmade and hand-finished pieces may vary by up to 2 cm.
  • Lengths are stated exactly as cut. If you plan to wear heels, take that into account when comparing lengths.
  • Where a piece is offered made to measure, this is stated on the product page.

If anything is unclear about a particular piece, write to hello@zaynoman.com before ordering and we will confirm the garment's measurements with the boutique.
